Hi All,
This is again one of my personal experiences.
Sometimes you get to know your detective skills wen u face real time problem like the one which i am about to narrate. n trust me u will actually b surprised to realise that wen we get determined to get something done, we can actually find out any workable solution in one or the other way...
so here goes my story...
I have an old plastic cooler. And it was giving some water troubles. That was for sure.
The very first thing tat we came to know abt our cooler was that it has grown old and second was tat it was surely giving water problems caz it was clearly and flamboyantly visible as many things wud get flooded...:P
Now the first thing that comes to our mind from water related problems is tat "some leakage is there".
But annoyingly tat was'nt the real cause of the floods that we used to face..u will laugh wen i will tell u the real reason bt as of now pls bear the suspense with me...caz it took me 5 days to actually get down to the real cause..for u guys it wud b a matter of 5 mins or so :P
hmm..so continuing my story...or lets do one thing....
Its a puzzle for all of you....
How was i facing the "water flooding my house" problem, wen there was no leakage anywhere in the cooler?
Lets see how ur hidden detective mind works...
I will complete my story after one week from now ,till then keep guessing :)
and may b i giv u a hint after a while :P..hehehe
see u soon!:)
Hi Guys, Iam back again and here goes the truth ...
Whenever , we wud switch on the pump, within 10 minutes the floor wud get flooded.
So After observing this, i tried to investigate closely "what pump had to do with water leakage"..
So i found out that wenever we wud switch on the pump , towards one of the shutters, the flow was more than rest of the shutters and so lil drops wud come out of the shutter and create a path along the outer lining of the cooler and then drop by drop we saw the floor getting wet frm the bottom of the cooler.Okay..so we had got the problem. But now the problem was how to fix tat.
And we needed to fix it urgently too caz flooding wud create a lot of problems..
In such a situation , ur creativity of mind actually comes into picture.
Since there was no real leakage, the solution had to b a complex one.
First we called an electrician who adjusted the flow .But still the problem dint get solved.caz now waterver water wud flow inside that will create a path along the lining n again drop by drop it wud start coming out.
So i applied my brain and did some weird calculations and found out a workaround.
I thought tat we need to use this cooler only for this season caz next season i havent seen it so cant predict anything...n buying a new cooler for only 2 months or so wud also be not a very gud idea.So , i decided to cover that entire lining with m-seal...Covering it with m-seal wud mean that we cannot open the shutters ever again(without breaking the cooler :P)..:P
but atleast we will get rid of the pump-leakage weird relationship.
and so It Worked!! :) followed by many cool and comfy days and night. And each day ,10 minutes after switching on the pump i wud check the floor n i wud find no signs of water :)...n then.,u will feel tat iam crazy but i had started to miss that water flooding caz it was tat thing only which gave me an opportuniy to actually use my detective ,analytical, problem solving skills..and u know wat...by getting to face such a challenge i also came to know that i actually had these qualities in me :P...
The jist is that sometimes things hav a purpose to serve for ur life but it depends entirely on u to decide wat purpose they served for u.:)
u can take it as a problem or u can take it as a challenge or as an incident which helped u discover ur hidden skills, helped u know urself better!!! :)
you are a continuous learner for sure.. and you became electrical engineer now after fixing dis cooler problem.. :)
ReplyDeleteya sure:P another degree :P...keep reading!!!:)
