I donot know how many of you have watched this movie but surely whosoever has watched knows the importance of a second chance in life..and those who have’nt watched ,don’t worry ..since my very article is abt something related to tat u will soon get the jist…:)
So, in the opening of the exhaust fan of my bathroom,a pair of birds found the site to be apt for their living and they started building the nest there.
Now the problem was the difference in comfort levels n ofcourse the difference in opinions.I was of the view tat since they r trying to make their nest in front of the exhaust fan, it is a dangerous place caz if by any chance we unintentionally switched the exhaust fan on,then their nest will b on flight for a few seconds for sure followed by a disastrous crash!!
So, I got determined not to let them make nest there…so the fight began ,everytime they wud bring their Building material,I wud switch on the exhaust fan n it wud simply blow the nest away…bt guess wat, they were equally determined too caz they thought it was the best place to bring up their upcoming lil ones
So they wud simply not give up either!
N it crossed the limits twice..wen the bird gave the egg in the absence of the nest n at the same place…Consequentially, the egg fell n broke into our area..:(
Wen it happened frst time I was very sad n then I thought tat they wud hav realized by now tat the place wasn’t suitable at all!!
Bt to my surprise ,they still hadn’t given up building their nest…
N the second time it happened again…n STILL they continued their “efforts”
Nyways I dint hav the capacity to absorb two deaths of not borns and now seemingly an upcoming 3rd one..
So this time I let them Build their nest..
I took every possible precaution of not hitting the exhaust fan switch…n this time the egg dint fall :)
Time started to pass away..i also started waiting eagerly for the lil buddy to come out of his/her lil shell…
And they silently without being even a trivial trouble to us ,did their very important job of nourishing the egg n then perhaps the baby…
Well,two days back I saw a lil bird who seemed to have just finished learning the lessons of flying in the balcony which is right below the nest..
“When did this happen”
“When the egg broke n the new soldier arrived in tis world”
When it struggled to learn n wen it almost finished learning”
I never cud get any answers..perhaps the answer is “wen I used to b at office”
Whatever it is, but the important thing here is tat I got not a second chance bt a third chance to save a life…a precious life n somehow it lightened the weight of my guilt of not foreseeing the 2 consequences of doing wat “I” thought was right!!
And also, I realized that sometimes we r definitely right bt tat doesn’t have the expected consequence n then we become wrong forever !!!
But at the same time ,we also get chances born out of thin air to let us make the RIGHT Choice…:)..All is well that Ends well :)
